It is a typical Galician variety, for consumption fried in green. The plant has a height of 70 to 80 cms. with small leaves of medium green, with triangular fruit, blunt tip.

This variety is long root, externally it is red and the meat is white. It tastes very good, albeit a little spicy. They are usually eaten raw, but can also be cooked.
